76 Consecutive dividend increases

This week we received our quarterly dividends from Mastercard and Texas Instruments.

We also became entitled to our quarterly dividends from Pool Corp and Starbucks.

Starbucks is celebrating its 50th annivesary since opening its first location in 1971. Starbucks began paying dividends in 2010 and has raised its dividend each year at an astounding compounded average annual rate of 22% per year. Starbucks not only looks after its shareholders, it is also a model employer and corporate citizen. A recent academic study into Starbucks' pioneering free college for all employees calculated the program spillover community benefit will soon reach $9.5 billion.
