The DivGro Weekly—23.04.21

68 Consecutive dividend increases

This week we received our quarterly dividend from Roper.

We also became entitled to our quarterly dividends from Lowe's and Zoetis.

Though under-followed and widely misunderstood, Zoetis is our animal-health juggernaut. Since its spinoff from Pfizer in 2013, Zoetis has already increased its dividend rapidly from 7c to 25c, equivalent to an annual rate of increase of 17.2%. While market potential for animal medicines is obviously smaller than for humans, because development costs are lower by an even greater factor, the resulting profit pools can be much more attractive, as is the case for Zoetis.
